APPEARANCE Inky black texta in colourAROMA A pretty lifted bouquet of beef stock, tar, menthol, nutmeg, glazed plums, scorched earth backed by vanilla and pain grille. PALATE Screaming texture on first sip, then feels like an airplane at take-off as the fruits spring board along the tongue. Poised and persistence is the order of the day, amazing purity and drive, yet somehow still stays amazingly light on its feet. Powerful tannins round out this remarkable wine, they are just so fruit driven with a lovely twist in the late palate that gives you a nice salty and drying tang. In its infancy and has much more stored in the tank.
