Tasting Notes

Ruby red in colour; on the nose it opens with vegetal and balsamic tones, which precede sensations of small black fruits and vanilla. On the palate it is balanced with clear tannins. Maceration with the skins for 5 days at a controlled temperature. Aging in barrique for 8 months. The wine it is a certified organic. It takes its name from a plot called 'Delli Piutri' in the countryside of Torchiarolo, between Lecce and Brindisi, where the family owned the vineyards since 1100. Cultivated 200 meters from the Adriatic Sea, the vineyards enjoy the fresh prevailing winds from the north east.
