Product Highlights
Take a close look at the bottle. Squint a little. You might notice something that sets this Cabernet apart.
There’s hardly any of it. Those individually numbered bottles tell a story of scarcity. Single vineyard. No more, no less.
While Bordeaux’s grand estates roll out tens of thousands of cases each year, Jack Mann remains the opposite — a quiet, confident expression of Western Australia. No gloss, no gimmicks. Just great Cabernet, in limited supply.
This is a flagship wine that doesn’t need to shout. It's already got the awards to prove it. Halliday Wine Companion Cabernet of the Year, yep, it's got that one under its belt.
We've watched and tasted as Jack Mann hold its own against the best in the world — Bordeaux First Growths, cult Napa icons, even the odd Super Tuscan. And it earns its place every time. That’s Frankland River for you. Deep gravels. Long days. Cold nights. And fruit that carries power, polish, and finesse.
There’s a little Malbec in the blend. You’ll notice it in the perfume. But it's the Cabernet that does the talking — dark, glossy, laced with violet, and wrapped in fine, silken tannins. It’s tight now. And built to last.
Houghton was founded in 1836 — just four years after Perth. It’s WA’s most awarded winery and a Halliday 5 Red Star name. Houghton gave us the iconic White Burgundy (now White Classic), and helped put Western Australia on the global wine map.
Jack Mann is its flagship. Old vine, single vineyard. Frankland River to its bones. The 2021 vintage is one of the best in years.
