BenMarco Sin Límites expresses our efforts to discover the most interesting combinations of soil and climate, where there are no limits to exploration, to reveal wines with unique identity and personality.
Gualtallary, located at 1,300 m.a.s.l. (4,265 ft.), is one of the coldest appellations within Valle de Uco. With calcareous coated stones and sand, this young region sets the perfect scenario for the boldest grape-growers to experiment.
BenMarco Sin Límites Gualtallary embodies the spirit of Gualtallary. This pure Malbec, with mineral and peppercorn tree notes, characterizes itself by its austerity, structure and texture with filigree tannins.
Given its complex, austere, affable profile, it is very versatile when it comes to food pairing. It matches with lamb, soft cheeses and all kinds of red meat.

Zekun Shuai - JamesSuckling.com
Racy and spicy red fruit profile on the nose with a hint of thyme and white pepper. The pure, medium-bodied palate has good intensity of flavors. Juicy and even in the middle with a vibrant finish. Composed and well-poised. More elegant than 2020.

Focused, but subtle and bright, with creamy green apples, lemon curd, flint and fine lees. Quite a mineral white with medium body, but a taut center-palate. A fine gauze of minerality rounds it off. Vegan.

Luis Gutierrez - Robert Parker Wine Advocate
The 2021 BenMarco Sin Límites Chardonnay Gualtallary comes from a plot (on the border between Albo and Monasterio) that was planted in 2005 before they bought the property in 2017. It fermented in 500-liter French oak barrels with indigenous yeasts, with only 25% of the wine put through malolactic, and matured in those barrels for six months. From a wet and cold year, it has an austere nose, freshness and good acidity, typicity of the grape and Burgundian process, with 13.5% alcohol and a pH of 3.27. Austere; nothing tropical or sweet here. 3,500 bottles were filled in October 2022.

Joaquin Hidalgo - Vinous
The 2021 Malbec BenMarco Sin Límites Gualtallary from the Uco Valley was aged for 12 months in used French barrels. Purple in hue. The expressive aromatic profile features violets, blackberry and raspberry with fresh plum and a whiff of open fields. On the palate, the tannins are refined, chalky and quite concentrated with a bare, linear style but with long-lasting flavor.
