Tasting Notes

Vibrant and fresh. Layered, complex aromas of stonefruit, pear and citrus with seductive fresh toast, dried herbs and malt. A style of Chardonnay unique to Margaret River and Evans & Tate – very complex with tremendous fruit flavour, whilst retaining freshness and bright acidity. Dry malt, fresh toast and struck match complexity from wild barrel fermentation on solids with ripe pear and peach. A touch of zesty lemon butter on the palate from the partial MLF and extended time maturing on yeast lees.

Product Highlights

In the conversation of what is Western Australia's most decorated wine, Redbrook Chardonnay can't be far from the forefront.

Open any results sheet from a major wineshow across the country, and the chances of seeing Redbrook feature at the pointy end of the publication are pretty high. It's a trophy darling. A winner amongst winners, and rarely leaves the winery without a flotilla of awards stickers wrapping around the heavyset bottle.

This 2020, like all that have come before, is dripping in awards... Think 2 trophies & 8 gold medals; not bad for one of Margaret River's original icons.

Toasty brioche, fresh struck match, juicy stone fruit, lemon butter, and a creamy backbone built from wild fermentation & serious oak work.

It’s a little more luxe, but when something’s been barrel-aged, lees-matured and bottled with this much finesse - it’s worth every penny.
