Jeff Porter - Wine Enthusiast
Aromas of roasted cherries, burnt sage and dried roses lift from the glass of this classy Barolo. The well-balanced palate opens to sour red fruit, medicinal herbs and rosewood finishing with superfine tannins that seem soft but sneak up on you, giving the wine more power on the bright finish. Drink 2025–2040.

Bright ruby red with garnet glints. In the nose of lush sour cherry and violets, then finely herbal and balsamic. Very tannic on the palate, still seems very youthful, has a lot of storage and development certain ageing potential.Reviewers: Othmar Kiem, Simon Staffler

Antonio Galloni MW - Vinous
The 2019 Barolo Terlo Vigna Costa Grimaldi is a potent, austere wine. Clean mineral notes and bright acids give the Terlo quite a bit of drive. Red-toned fruit, chalk, mint, white pepper, orange peel and dried herbs give this nervous, mid-weight Barolo a good deal of flavor complexity and overall nuance. It will be interesting to see how this ages.
