Ferrous, cherry, mint, a little liquorice, juicy with some dried herb perfume, praline. Plenty of impact, some hazelnut, a rich seam of ironstone tannin to mine, lots of spicy grip and orange peel to finish. Very good. Bold. There’s a lot less oak influence in this wine these days, which is great to see.
