Saturated, layered and loaded with flavour – just packed with it. This has cassis, aniseed, clove, black pepper and toasty oak, all wrapped in a polished package of fine tannins and enduring length of flavour. More delicate than you might expect, but with a backbone of structure.

The fruit for this 2019 Premium Release Cabernet Sauvignon is sourced from Frankland River—an excellent place for Cabernet Sauvignon. Woven into the very fabric of this wine is the regional hallmarks of red dirt, gravel, iodine and concentrated red and purple fruit. While the fruit may not linger through the finish, as I hoped it would, it is not the top-tier wine from this iconic Western Australian estate—it is great value for money (approximately AUD$30). A really pleasing wine.
