The wine has a complex profile with notes of hedgerow fruits, raspberry, red skin, dark sweet berries, dry herbs, anise, vanillin, and cocoa. On the palate, the wine presents a finely flavoured and textured blend of fruits, herbs, spice, oak, and time, resulting in a savoury and sweet complexity. The ripe, silky, and mouth-coating fruit tannins are balanced by fine-grained oak, giving the wine a supple feel. The soft acidity and mineral structure support the wine's long-lasting and abundant flavour.

THE SEASON
The start of the growing season was mild, damp, and slow, resulting in lower yield outcomes due to poor fruit set. These prolonged, cool conditions delayed the start of the vintage until late February. Fortunately, March was dry as the whites were picked under sunny skies well into the middle of autumn. Some fungal outbreaks required extra attention at harvest. Moderate and dry conditions continued through autumn as the reds trickled in. Despite the variable weather conditions, the quality outcomes are very good. The whites have retained purity and vibrancy, while the reds exhibit a brightness of flavour, elegance, and fine tannin structure. Overall, this season can be defined as classic.
