Impressive clarity of strawberries and wild cherries, amid some gently spicy oak influence. The palate has a lightly peppery core with a brambly red-fruit thread that holds long and fresh. Drink or hold. Screw cap.

More whole bunches in the ferment, more time on the skins and less new oak are just a few changes made by winemaker, Hedley, to get less flavour sweetness in this year's pinot noir. An elegant, slightly leafy pinot noir with cherry, raspberry, floral, spice, and sappy dried herb flavours. It's a fleshy, complex wine with good weight. Good value
Mulberries, spiced cherries, dark plums, dried earth and nutmeg on the nose. Some black pepper, too. It’s medium-to full-bodied with sleek tannins and a juicy, creamy palate. Flavorful, spiced and textured.

The full, fragrant 2020 Pinot Noir flourishes in the mouth with its supple, silken caress. However, the region's natural freshness and a portion of whole bunches have added line and length, giving the wine purpose and structure on the medium-length finish. The lingering flavors are reminiscent of red cherry, floral notes and sandalwood.

Attractive raspberry and lavender aromas. Juicy red fruit with some herbal overtones and cedar-like oak and plenty of depth and length.

From four Wairau Valley vineyards. Fermented with around 10% whole-bunches. A supple, fleshy wine with violet, dark cherry, and spicy oak flavours supported by gentle acidity and fine, peppery tannins
Wine Spectator
Bright and expressive, with sage-scented cherry and raspberry fruit flavors that have an appealingly robust quality and dense tannins. Drink now. 2,688 cases made, 500 cases imported.

Framingham's 2017 Pinot Noir features cinnamon and clove notes, plus dark cherry fruit. It's medium-bodied and sturdy, with attractive cola flavors, a firm, unyielding mouthfeel and a crisp, mouthwatering finish. Despite the tannins, I don't see this becoming more generous over time, so drink it over the next few years.
