Our story began in the late 1990s when our winemaker, Ben Glaetzer, discovered the exceptional quality of fruit being grown in the lesser-known region of Langhorne Creek in South Australia. Together with industry veterans Scott Collett and Grant Tilbrook, and more recently Nick Keukenmeester, we have grown Heartland into an award-winning winery.
But what sets us apart from other wineries is that we are not just investors or owners, but we are also at the coalface of our craft. We are deeply involved in every step of the winemaking process, from grape to bottle. This hands-on approach ensures that our wines are of the highest quality and reflect the passion and dedication that we have for our craft.
Today, all of our fruit is sourced exclusively from the Langhorne Creek region, and our focus is mainly on red wines.
