Chateau Beausejour Duffau-Lagarrosse

Managed by Nicolas Thienpont who admits that this is one of the greatest terroirs of Saint Emilion, there is a fine balance here between freshness and powerful density. Dark ruby colour, glossy and bright; soft on the nose with aromas of black fruit, sloes and plums; ripe and full on the palate, soft with very pretty, soft fruit. Really expressive and lively, the tannic power is well wrapped up in the round texture of the fruit. Excellent aging potential.
