A hot and dry growing season meant our shiraz vines ripened quickly and crops were larger than average. Sufficient water supply ensured our vines remained in good health and a cool February helped ensure the natural acidity was retained at harvest. The grapes have plenty of concentrated flavour and vibrant acidity.

This is the new release of the incredible 2021 vintage. Bin 0 is made to be an age worthy style and has been the undisputed icon of Great Western Shiraz for many decades. Made from the three-shiraz blocks surrounding our Concongella winery; Bart’s Block from 1966, Sparky’s Block from 1970 and a selection from our White Gravels Hill block planted in the early 1990’s. It is internationally acclaimed as one of Australia’s great Shiraz wines.
