Eden Valley cabernet sauvignon planted in 2001 at 550m elevation, matured in seasoned French oak barriques for 12 months. Crimson in hue with plenty of ripe blackberry, plum and boysenberry notes with hints of glacé cherries, violets, redcurrant jam, fine spices, chocolate and lighter tones of dried herbs and cedar. Well composed with light tannin support, fine acidity and a finish flush with ripe fruit and spice. Great value.
