Collection: Larry Cherubino Wines

Larry Cherubino wines is the label of experienced Western Australian winemaker Larry Cherubino, ex Houghton hero and highly gifted winemaking consultant. Larry has over 300 show medals to his name, though this eponymous label showcases some distinctive Western Australian wines that are not usually entered in shows, even though they are entirely worthy enough. Larry Cherubino Vineyards Larry, like all good consultant winemakers, knows a thing or two about some local vineyards, as witnessed by how many unique sites he sources from. The secret of course is matching the right vineyard to the right variety, which you would be hard pressed to argue with given the success of Larry's wines. Some of these well matched vineyards include Whispering Hill (Riesling), Acacia (Shiraz) and Riversdale (Cabernet Sauvignon). Larry Cherubino Wine Types The Larry Cherubino message is one of finesse, carefully handled intensity and regional flavours, a range celebrating single vineyard sites. The wine range itself is broken up into three tiers, beginning with the fun and interesting 'Ad Hoc' wines, the more serious ' The Yard' label and finally the most focused 'Larry Cherubino' wines. Larry's finest wines come, arguably, from Riesling, Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon, with the single vineyard Rieslings a particular highlight.
