Nestled in the scenic hills of Piedmont, Italy, lies the Viberti Giovanni winery, a family-owned and operated business with a rich history spanning three generations. Today, the winery is led by the youngest son, Claudio, who is directly involved in the production and management of its renowned wines.
With a strong foundation built on the legacy of its predecessors, Viberti Giovanni produces an impressive 120,000 bottles per year. This success can be attributed not only to the dedication and hard work of its young and motivated staff, but also to the winery's unwavering ambition to continuously achieve new heights. In line with this goal, the winery recently made a substantial investment in its Barbera vine, specifically for the production of its newest addition, "La Gemella".
But it's not just about expanding their range of wines. Viberti Giovanni also values the power of collaboration and friendship, as seen in their partnership with a historic vineyard in the heart of the Monvigliero di Verduno cru, where they acquire Nebbiolo grapes for their acclaimed wines.
While the winery constantly strives for innovation, they never lose sight of their roots. The Barolo Buon Padre remains a focal point for the family, and since 2012, has been crafted with a blend of Nebbiolo grapes from a Perno di Serralunga d'Alba vineyard and the Albarella cru in Barolo. This classic Barolo continues to delight connoisseurs with its traditional style, thanks to the expert cultivation of eight different Barolo crus, all carefully nurtured to preserve their unique biodiversity. At Viberti Giovanni, the passion for winemaking runs deep, and each bottle is a testament to the family's commitment to producing exceptional wines that embody the spirit of their beloved Italian heritage.
