Her 7 hectares of Sangiovese vineyards, which have been in her family for 40 years, are situated in prime terroir with calcareous-clay soil enriched with pliocene sandstone. This unique combination results in wines with delicate aromas and a refined complexity. But what truly sets Chiara's wines apart is her unwavering commitment to organic viticulture. She meticulously tends to her vines, employing manual labor, organic fertilization, and mechanical weeding, all with a deep respect for the land.
With a production of 20,000 bottles annually, Chiara's wines are a true labour of love. She follows a hands-on approach, using indigenous yeasts and gravity-fed fermentation tanks, and refrains from filtration. This results in wines that are a pure expression of their terroir and showcase Chiara's deep respect for the environment.
