The Brunello Biondi-Santi is a testament to the unique terroir at “Tenuta Greppo”, where high-altitude, terraced vineyards with a poor, galestro-rich soil and the family’s own Sangiovese clone “BBS11” give forth grapes which excel in balance between fruit, structure and acidity. “BBS11” (Brunello Biondi Santi 11) is, in fact, the only official varietal clone which bears the name of a producer.
