Why's this wine for you?

Planted in 1977, Xanadu was one of the first established vineyards in the region and for almost half a century, this pioneering spirit has led them to height after height. Today the winery is owned and operated by the Rathbone family, with Glenn Godall holding the position of Chief Winemaker since 2005. Under Glenn, focus has returned to vineyards, producing the best possible fruit and letting it speak for itself.

And this offer speaks for itself. Consider, aged Sauvignon Blanc Semillon from one of Margaret River’s most revered estates, carefully aged in the Xanadu cellars until the time is right for drinking

The Brief
How's it taste?
The nose is surprisingly fresh for its age with notes of fresh cut grass and lemon. The palate features potent minerality and smoky, flinty characters that harmonise with zesty lemon and lime.
