So Much Shiraz Mixed Dozen
When too much Shiraz is never enough.
This collection of Shiraz Shiraz and more Shiraz shows the joy of the nation's favourite red grape. Plump with plums. Choc full of chocolate. And with fine tannins aplenty.
Featuring wines from wineries like Grant Burge, De Bortoli and Yarran, this is Shiraz aplenty.
How's it taste?
In this mixed case you will receive two bottles of each of the below.
How was it made?
2 x Grant Burge gb56 Shiraz 2018: Plump red fruits, soft tannins and so so much fruit. Very easy drinking and very likeable.
2 x Yarran Shiraz 2018: The warm and dry climate during the ripening period is perfect for this Aussie favourite. A wine showing lifted plum and fruitcake aromas with spicy and chocolate oak on the palate
2 x De Bortoli La Bossa Shiraz 2017: Bold, spiced fruits with rounded oak tones lift out of the glass. The palate is open-knit and generous with bright fruits and plenty of appeal. Great value.
2 x Norfolk Rise Shiraz 2018: Bright aromas of violets, pepper and ripe red fruits are followed by a luscious palate of dark fruit, spice and vanilla with well-integrated chocolaty oak supported by smooth tannins. Vibrant and juicy this wine is a bargain at the price and is ready to be enjoyed now.
2 x Bayliss Road Black Label Shiraz 2017: Juicy, ripe layers of dark fruits and nice on both the nose and palate. Silky tannins provide a smooth mouthfeel and balance. An enjoyable drop that would be perfect with your Friday night pizza.
2 x Penmara Reserve Shiraz 2016: The nose displays aromas of dark fruit, spice and pepper. The full-bodied palate bursts with dark berries and plum fruit flavours interwoven with peppery spice and subtle oak. Fine tannins add structure, depth and length on the finish.
