Direct from our friends in South Australia comes this collection of varied premium wines. It's a taste of modern South Aussie wine in one convenient six pack.

Wines included in this case:

2017 Barons Of Barossa Barons Shiraz: 94 Points - Sam Kim - Wine OrbitUp front and inviting, the gorgeously fruited bouquet shows black/blueberry, spiced cherry, floral and roasted nut characters with a touch of spicy complexity. The palate is generously flavoured and rounded, delivering supple mouthfeel and loads of tasty flavours, well supported by silky tannins. Very attractively styled.

2016 Bleasdale The Wild Plum Cabernet Merlot
Bleasdale are famous for making hearty reds, with a whole catalogue of honest, over-delivering wines that you are undeniably flavour packed. This Cab Merlot is every bit the chunky overachiever too, a wine that would have a firm handshake if it took on human form. Big dark fruit, firm tannins, a long finish. It's bold red wine in every way.

2018 Rolf Binder MVV Cabernet Sauvignon
The fruit for this Cabernet Sauvignon was sourced from Binder Estate vineyards in the sub regions of Marananga, Vine Vale and Eden Valley, showcasing the diversity of the Barossa terroir. The wine is juicy and rich on the palate with full, ripe flavours of blackberry, cassis and cedar. The wine is juicy and rich on the palate with full, ripe flavours of blackberry, cassis, cedar and integrated oak. A well structured Cabernet Sauvignon that can be enjoyed while young or in future years with cellaring.

2019 Picnic Rosé
Luscious on the palate with hints of strawberry, blueberry, roses and spring flowers. Flavours of ripe berries. Notes of floral and herbs balance the bright acidity and mouth-watering dry finish - a clean crisp rosé.

2019 Simon Tolley Sauvignon Blanc
An aromatic, fruit-driven styled wine. The palate is clean and crisp of medium weight and alcohol. Flavours are predominately gooseberry and lychees with hints of guava and pink grapefruit. The wine is refreshing with a long lingering finish.

2019 Morgan's Reserve Chardonnay: The Adelaide Hills sits right at the forefront of Australian Chardonnay evolution, with some of the most sophisticated modern wines in the country that show cleverness AND flavour. This elegant Chardonnay is the latest in the line from the Morgan's Vineyard label, which has provided so many delicious (and reliable) wines in recent years. It's a fresh and vibrant white that trades on gentle peachy fruit instead of oak, the style approachable, crisp, easy.

I love experimenting with wines and encourage our Wine Collective members to try something different all the time. It’s amazing how the same grape variety from 2 different regions made by 2 different wine makers can taste so different. Some wines can be enjoyed on their own while others are better with food. If we all liked the same thing we’d be pretty boring.
