Wines included in this case:

2017 Barons Of Barossa Barons Shiraz
If you're looking for big Barossan reds, look no further than this epic red from a real Barossa supergroup. Luscious, dense and so very rich red wine that will live for years. 96 Points - The Wine Collective..

2017 Lawley Farm Grey Label Barossa Shiraz 2017
93 Points - Sam Kim - Wine Orbit
Offering sweet fruit notes of Black Doris plum and mulberry as well as nuances of cake spice, almond and floral, the wine shows lovely mid-palate weight and fruit intensity backed by supple texture and silky tannins. It’s succulent, flavoursome and lingering with plenty of tasty flavours. At its best: now to 2025.

Pirathon Blue Shiraz 2017
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
This is splendidly fruited and inviting on the nose showing dark fruit richness together with seductive notes of anise, roasted hazelnut, cocoa and floral. The palate delivers excellent weight and fruit intensity, wonderfully complemented by silky texture and fine-grained tannins. It’s rich and generous with a lengthy delicious finish.

Hewitson The Ancients Barossa Shiraz 2018

Dean Hewitson's homage to old Barossa vineyards is a beauty, showcasing that incredible fruit intensity and effortless richness only found in true Barossan classics, with a weight and length that is next level. Power to burn, this is real Barossa Shiraz.

Boisterous Cabernet Sauvignon 2017
Deep, dark red/purple colour. The bouquet is reserved and ripe, chocolaty, mellowing and savoury, not all that cabernet-like but of good quality. It's rich and full-bodied, with depth and grip thanks to ripe, supple tannins. There's a touch of chew on the aftertaste and the wine offers remarkable weight and flavour, balance and drinkability at the modest price. Not a textbook cabernet perhaps but a wholly surprising wine.

Thistledown Gorgeous Grenache 2019
Thistledown is one of those names that has championed Grenache in recent times, with a whole suite of stunning wines that really capture the variety. This bright and juicy example couldn't be any more instantly drinkable if it tried.

Senior Wine Advisor

I love experimenting with wines and encourage our Wine Collective members to try something different all the time. It’s amazing how the same grape variety from 2 different regions made by 2 different wine makers can taste so different. Some wines can be enjoyed on their own while others are better with food. If we all liked the same thing we’d be pretty boring.
