Penmara Reserve Mixed Dozen
Created in 2000, Penmara is a winery with a unique story. Five family-owned vineyards joined forces to increase their strength and winemaking control. For us at The Wine Collective, founded on the principles of shared vision and collective strength, this is music to our ears. Valued at $240 this case will give you the chance to taste through their amazing range of red wines.
How's it taste?
Meet your new favourite collection from Penmara! The Pinot Noir is full to the brim with ripe, dark, barries and a touch of raspberry. The Shiraz has a generous dose of pepper and fine tannins while the Cabernet is super smooth with blackcurrant and cinnamon.
How was it made?
In this Penmara Reserve collection you will receive:
4 x Penmara Reserve Shiraz 2016
From the heart of cherry country in the NSW Hilltops comes a lovely medium bodied red that showcases both choc berry flavour with a wonderful lift of spices. Hearty wine but still not heavy - just well made.
4 x Penmara Reserve Pinot Noir 2017
From the cool heights of Orange, this spicy, and gently plummy cool climate Pinot Noir straddles the riper red raspberry of warmer sites but with peppery edges. Savoury, light-bodied and very easy drinking.
4 x Penmara Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Here we have the Mudgee Cabernet Sauvignon from Penmara and it's a lovely earthy regional red. Fully of flavour and heart, it's just the pick for anyone after a red wine with flavour.
Who made it?
Penmara was created when five, well-established, family-owned vineyards joined together to take control over the way they were making and distributing wine. Located in the Hunter Valley with access to vineyards in Orange and the surrounding areas provides them with access to different climates and soil types. This enables them to produce quality wines of character with a unique sense of place.
