Blue Pyrenees Estate Late Disgorged Brut Rose NV
The Collective Review
We simply love this complex, long, luscious and textural fizz. It’s a slightly bronze shade of pink (like many great Brut Rose from Champagne) and it just sails over the palate like a superyacht off the coast of Nice. Beautiful, and beautifully complex sparkling wine.
Wonderfully complex and engaging, the wine shows richly expressed aromas of golden apple, apricot, oatmeal and yeasty notes on the nose, followed by a concentrated palate that offers excellent depth and weight. It is silky, smooth and generous with an impressively long finish. AU$25.00. www.thewinecollective.com.au. Read more

Blue Pyrenees has a history of top-notch sparkling wines representing excellent value. This is a fine example. Using estate-grown Pinot Noir, harvested a little earlier than for a table wine, the juice is fresh and vibrant, which helps to carry the length on the palate. It also picks up a pleasing gentle pink hue, the typical pigeon’s eye colour. A persistent bead. The nose offers fresh strawberry hints, spices and a whiff of freshly made toast. There are stonefruit and cherry notes on the palate. Decent length carries the intensity of flavour throughout, ensuring that this late disgorged style is one of the better Blue Pyrenees sparklers. Perfect for enjoying now on a summer afternoon, this fizz will easily last for another three to four years. Excellent value.

Tasting Notes
Late disgorged sparkling rosé from Blue Pyrenees that shows the skills of fine winemaking. It's pure, complex and oh so moreish. A seriously sophisticated light pink rosé with leesy weight and freshness. Magical
