How's it taste?

This is a fresh aperitif style Champagne yet, with a real weight, complexity and depth to it. Green straw in colour, it has a lovely, fine, delicate mousse and a long, persistent and driving finish. Lots of flavour and very crisp, this is serious serious bubbles!

How was it made?

With its golden and shiny robe, R.014 delights our eyes while its soft effervescence is mesmerizing.
Subtle notes of fresh fruits, citrus fruit and honey making a large range of appealing aromas thanks to its character and generosity. They are a pleasure for the nose.
The mouth is tasty with a good structure and a nice freshness in order to be balanced and appealing.

As a starter, R.014 will match perfectly with salty amuse-bouches. While dining, it will match perfectly with most of the salty dishes, with a turbot fish with a creamy sauce made with sea food, poultry with morel mushrooms, or a tasty goat cheese.
In order to enhance the end of the meal, it can be offered in association with fine desserts made of white and yellow fruits.

Who made it?

The Lallier brand was founded in 1906 by Rene Lallierin the Ay region of Champagne. In 1996, Rene-James Lallier (Rene's grandson) took the brand in a new direction, by modernising the production facilities and refurbishing the cellars. In his quest for outstanding quality, he enlisted the help of Francis Tribaut. Francis took over the helm of the company in 2004. In the years that followed, Rene's legacy and Francis' continuing passion have established the reputation for excellence with which Lallier Champagnes are regarded, year in, year out.
