NV Collet Brut Rose
Beautiful packaging AND tastes delicious - now this pink Champagne has it nailed.
Actually, calling it pink isn't doing it justice. The richer colour is a nod to the vibrancy here; a rosé Champagne laden with strawberry fruits with a soft and refreshing palate to back things up.
How's it taste?
A floral and strawberry aromas lead onto a moreish palate. Stawberries and cream flavours create a silky texture with a persistent bead. A wine of harmony and charm.
How was it made?
This assemblage has its origin in 20 Crus from the Premiers and Grands Crus of the Champagne region. It is completed with 20% reserve wines. 50% Pinot Noir from the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus villages of Aÿ, Hautvillers, Avenay-Vald’Or or Louvois, to produce a light, tender and fruity wine. 40% Chardonnay predominantly from the Premier Cru of Vertus contributes freshness and lemony notes. The mineral dimension and aromas of fl int come from the Cru of Villers- Marmery, which has a limestone soil. Grands Crus and Premiers Crus villages such as Chouilly, Avize, Oger and Vaudemange, complete the assemblage with force and complexity. 10% Meunier provides roundness and suppleness. This assemblage Brut Rosé has 16% Pinot Noir, from Mailly-Champagne, well known for its aromatic power and its richness, and from Vertus, vinified as red wine. This red nectar allows fruity, warm and luscious aromas to develop.
