NV Champagne Lallier Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs
The richest wines in the Champagne world are all Blanc de Blancs, and this Lallier Blanc de Blancs ups the stakes even more as it is from 100% Grand Cru plots.
How's it taste?
You can just imagine then how this beauty tastes. This Lallier spends up to 4 yrs on lees - which is super serious given that $200 vintage Champagne has to be matured for just 3 yrs.A fine fizz that perfectly balances freshness and delicacy with an extra layer of complexity and richness. A Cinderella Champagne then, that comes in a smart gift box and screams class from every angle.
How was it made?
Grand Cru doesn't just sound special, it's a rarity in the scheme of things, making up just 8% of the Champagne vineyard land. What's more, the Chardonnay grapes for this super wine come from the village of Aÿ - renowned for delivering some of the boldest Champagne around.
Who made it?
The Lallier brand was founded in 1906 by Rene Lallierin the Ay region of Champagne. In 1996, Rene-James Lallier (Rene's grandson) took the brand in a new direction, by modernising the production facilities and refurbishing the cellars. In his quest for outstanding quality, he enlisted the help of Francis Tribaut. Francis took over the helm of the company in 2004. In the years that followed, Rene's legacy and Francis' continuing passion have established the reputation for excellence with which Lallier Champagnes are regarded, year in, year out.
