Warm up your winter with this collection of typically full bodied and utterly delicious red wines, drawn from all over the countryside.

Headlining this homage to red red wine is a stunning Hunter Valley Shiraz we've plucked from the cellar. This 96pt scoring Sweetwater Vineyard Hermitage Shiraz 2004 is a super smooth red that sourced from a famed old vineyard and made by modern legend of Hunter wine Andrew Thomas. Matured since release in a cool cellar, you can only buy this from the Hungerford Hill Wines (who recently bought the vineyard) cellar door where it goes for $90 a bottle.

But why stop there? You can have 11 other wines in the pack, with over $321 worth of wine that you can take home for just $149 a dozen.

This pack contains:

2004 Sweetwater Hermitage Shiraz
James Halliday
The cork is in pretty good shape, and so is the wine. Supple black fruits, spice, earth, leather on lees - all intertwined; soft but persistent tannins holding the ship of state in fine trim.

Penley Estate Argus Coonawarra Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Cabernet Franc 2017
Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon - what more could you want in a Coonawarra red? Penley have really reinvented themselves in the last few years and wines like this are what they're now known for. A red blend that combines all the structure you want in Coonawarra reds, with some excellent juicy fruit.

2017 Aramis Vineyards Regional Selection McLaren Vale Shiraz
McLaren Vale Shiraz at its plump best, with so much chunky flavour, soft tannins and then a lovely smooth palate. Amamis here is showcasing the very essence of medium bodied, oh-so-generous Vale Shiraz.

Cake Wines McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Top Notch McLaren Vale Cabernet from the highly talented Sarah Burvill!

Jeanneret Cabernet Shiraz 2017
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit

Offering delightful complexity, the bouquet shows fragrant aromas of blackcurrant, plum, cocoa and cedar characters with a subtle herbal infusion. It’s concentrated and weighty on the palate with excellent depth and persistency, backed by chalky tannins, finishing wonderfully structured and lingering.

2018 Pure Clare Cabernet Sauvignon
Line up for the biggest, darkest, most luscious and full-flavoured red around! That's the Pure Clare ethos, with so much flavour that you can see it. Or at least taste it.

2019 Grant Burge GB43 Merlot
It might have taken us a while to find, but here is a genuinely drinkable Merlot. Full of plush blueberry fruits, this mid weight wine has subtle oak and pretty raspberry fruit too. Easy drinking proper Merlot.

Kirrihill Winemakers Selection Cabernet Sauvignon 2016
Behold, Clare Valley Cabernet in all it's dark and chunky glory! Kirrihill have a knack for hearty reds, and no difference with this 2016 red. It's full-flavoured, with plenty of that real Clare depth and intensity. You want red wine of substance? You've come to the right place.

2019 Zilzie Selection 23 Pinot Noir
Fruit forward style with subtle savouriness from the nose, strawberry and secondary flavours of cherry and pepper notes express throughout the glass. Great to enjoy on the couch with pizza.

2018 Yarran Cabernet Sauvignon
The Yarran team continue to venture further afield for top quality wine, this time landing up in Bendigo and the NSW Hilltops. The result is a massive overperformer, a rich and juicy red that is overflowing with flavour and character.

2019 Norfolk Rise Pinot Noir
Norfolk Rise has an enviable reputation for ridiculously glorious value wines and this Pinot is no different. Bright, juicy and vibrant, yet still tasting varietal and savoury, it's a smart wine.
More than just smart wine, it's a bloody good drink that transcends price.

Willow Bridge Water Dancer Cabernet Merlot 2019

Water Dancer typifies the juicy and fleshy expression of the varieties from the Geographe region. A spectrum of flavours ranging from bright berry fruits, to darker plum and lashings of chocolate.
