The nose is discreet, marked by minerality with gourmet notes of pear. This Petit Chablis has a nervous, light and tangy entry in the mouth. The palate evolves on liveliness and freshness. This wine is thirst-quenching with an aromatic finish on apple and pear.
Gioiello Old Hill Chardonnay 2019 The Old Hill block chardonnay grapes were fermented in French oak barriques using wild yeast and left to mature on lees for 8 months. 2019 Vintage saw dry and hot conditions across the property but the vineyard thrived.Ripe and round Chardonnay, this has melon and toasted almon on the nose. This is a fresh style with lovely layers of complexity. There is a bit of new oak but it is beautifully integrated. This is the kind of Chardonnay we love to drink. 95 Points - Sam Kim - Wine Orbit
