Tasting Notes
This has a glowing green/gold hue and the nose is a blistering delivery of classic Hunter Semillon character: tangy citrus flavours, a steely mineral vein and a hint of grassiness overlay gentle, green tropical fruit characters. The palate is restrained yet powerful, with a crisp phenolic nip adding textural complexity and framing a spine of acidity. It’s linear and focussed, with plenty of intensity and delicious, tangy length.
