Described as a more complex and structured style of Rose by the winery, the Rock Angel is produced from grapes primarily sourced from the vineyards of Chateau d?Esclans in addition to selected vineyards in the vicinity of the Esclans Valley and nearby in the Cotes de Provence region. Translucent pale salmon pink colour. Aromas of peach, strawberry, blood orange and spice are followed by some stony notes. Quite full and round in the mouth, fleshy textured peach, strawberry and blood orange fruits overlay a wet stone back drop. Dry finish with edgy acidity and a nicely concentrated conclusion that has a touch of spice to it

Grenache, Cinsault and Rolle. Crafted with intention, this ros? embodies a blend predominantly comprised of Grenache, Cinsault, and Rolle grapes sourced from venerable 20- to 25-year-old vines nestled in mid-elevation vineyards. The harvest commences with the break of dawn, continuing until noon, ensuring optimal grape freshness. Following careful selection, the grapes undergo destemming and gentle crushing at 7-8?C, meticulously avoiding oxidation to preserve their pristine qualities. Selected for their peak ripeness, the free-run juice, delicately collected from the weight of the grapes, is artfully blended with the slightly pressed juice, maintaining the wine's purity, vibrancy, and intensity of flavors. A portion of this vintage undergoes a judicious resting period in French oak barrels (30%), imparting substance, structure, and depth, while the remainder finds its repose in stainless steel tanks (70%), ensuring the fruit's brightness and vivacity remain undiminished. The result is a serious ros? that harmonizes tradition with innovation, capturing the essence of its terroir with finesse.
