The results are in. After blind tasting through a small ocean of Cabernet Sauvignon, one Barossan red beat them all. One wine floored our tasting panel, even though they had no idea what they were tasting, and had us so excited we bought the whole vintage.

Honestly, no one was surprised when the brown paper bag came off the bottle. Corryton Burge, after all, is the label of Trent Burge, son of legend Grant Burge. The Burge's were, for many years, the largest independent vineyard owners in the Barossa, and they still know where to go for the best fruit in the Barossa.

And they've delivered something classic here.

It's a big, luscious, ultra-generous red of serious proportions - a silken charmer with so much limitless fruit, chocolatey oak and real tannins. A grown-up Barossan wine of power and seduction.
