Sourcing equals 38/35/27% Heathcote/Goulburn Valley/Dookie; aged on French oak staves for 18 months with 1% merlot added to the final blend. The '22 offers up the scent of the great Aussie bush: eucalyptus, acacia, baked earth and wild herbs. On the palate, it melds in easily with ripe blackberries and some, at times, prominent mocha-coffee oak, especially to close. Uncomplicated but tasty.
