Light on the herbaceous stuff with a core of dense blackberry and black cherry fruit supported by hints of dark spice, licorice, chocolate, violets and earth. Fine-grained tannins and bright acidity provide the frame for the rich fruit and a finish that's long, pure and packed with spice. Read more

Tasting Notes

Complex aromas of blackberry, plum, kirsch, vanilla and lavender combine with hints of spicey sandalwood oak.  Full bodied, with rich and intense black fruit flavours, meld into the chalky tannins. The complex structure of this wine suggests it will age for many years.
