2020 Juniper Crossing Original Red
The Collective Review
Juniper Estate is located in WA’s Wilyabrup region, in the heart of premium Margaret River. Established in 1973, it’s one of the oldest vineyards in the area and has a long standing reputation of producing some of the finest and best value examples of the region's hero varieties.
This 2020 Crossing Original Red comes with a cracking review from Erin Larkin at Halliday’s Wine Companion.
“For a little cheapie, this packs a punch. Perfectly Margaret River, uncomplicated in its expression, and coloured by a bevy of bright fruits. Compelling!”
We couldn’t agree more. This playful, delightful red is incredible value for money. It’s invitingly bright in the glass, with aromas of intense black fruits, bay leaf and violets greeting you on the nose. Tantalise your tastebuds with flavours of juicy blackcurrant pastille, dark fruits, fine tannins and a satisfying finish.
Serving food with it? Go for big Portobello mushrooms stuffed with pizza toppings.

Tasting Notes
Brilliant crimson/scarlet in colour. An abundance of red fruits spill from the glass: raspberry, red currant & cherry with a lick of cassis & a red liquorice twist. Oak contributes subtle cedar & vanilla. Medium to full-bodied & silky in the mouth. The palate is driven by bright, juicy red fruits & a hint of dark chocolate. Impeccably balanced acid, discreet oak, glossy tannins & remarkable length make this a compelling proposition
