The Barbera is also from the Monforte d’Alba subzone, on high-elevation sites with a southeast exposure, also on soils loaded with minerals and limestone. The fruit was hand-harvested, fully destemmed and fermented in stainless steel, then aged in wooden casks for 12 months.
