Tasting Notes
PALATE: Great structure with fine delicate citrus flavours. Prior to bot tling, a small portion of unwooded material was blended in to give this wine a beautiful balance between fruit and oak.

First Creek Wines is a family owned and operated winery based in the Hunter Valley, Australia’s oldest wine producing region. The talented family of winemakers comprises of Liz, Shaun and Greg Silkman whose emphasis on careful fruit selection and rig orous attention to detail produce a range of wines that appeal to both critics and consumers alike. The first Chardonnay in Australia was produced in the Hunter Valley. Our style is very much fruit driven, with oak being ‘a flavour’ rather than ‘the flavour’.
