The Brief
How's it taste?
Aromatics: Black forest berries, sour cherries, ripe blueberries, spices, happiness in a glass. Palate: Generous medium body gamay, deliver tone of flavours and pleasure, raspberries and strawberries are the main event on the palate. Deliciously dangerous drink.
How was it made?
Organic farming. Gamay from soon to become 11st Cru of Beaujolais: ‘Cru Lantigné’. This is a very good Beaujolais Villages grown on granite and clay mixed with blue schist, similar soils to Cote du Py. Moreover ‘La Savoye’ vines includes old vines planted in 1905 by Raphael family. Semi-carbonic vinification.
