Located at the frontier of the Margaux AOC, near Cantemerle and Giscours. The 2020 vintage will remain etched in the memories of all those who workeddirectly or indirectly on a property. Beyond the health context known to all,the yield for the vintage was down for most of us. It took a lot of rigour andpreventive measures to get our vineyard through this rainy and mildlockdown spring. At the end of the season, the bunches had fewer grapesthan normal, already indicating a lower yield. Nevertheless, our work in thespring allowed the vines to get through the summer drought. The few rainshowers at the end of the season breathed new life into the vineyard. Even ifthese conditions benefited the Merlot more than the Cabernet Sauvignon, thequality of our terroirs and the efficiency of our teams made it possible toharvest a ripe and healthy crop, though admittedly not a very large one. Ruby with crimson reflections. The 2020 vintage is intense and complex onthe nose, with aromas of black and red fruit. Clean attack, the oaky notesare well integrated, this is an already accessible wine. Ageing potential: 10years.
