Years ago, back before we were a Collective, an unfinished barrel sample of Tasmanian Pinot Noir turned up on our doorstep and created a storm. At the time, it was like a gift from heaven, as we were desperately hunting for great Tasmanian wine and one turned up almost by magic.

Hence, Wildside Pinot Noir was born, and it quickly became our most popular Tasmanian wine EVER.

Now, the Wildside label has grown with the addition of a wonderfully fresh and vital Riesling to the team - and we couldn't be happier.

Tasmanian Riesling is a most unappreciated creature, with the perfect cool Tassie climate delivering exceptional freshness and an unmatched ability to age with dignity in the cellar. This vital white has a citrussy energy that is so utterly satisfying too - like a breath of fresh air into the world.

Expert Reviews

93 Points - Angus HughsonThis wine is worth tracking down thanks to its very pretty cool climate Riesling fruits that Tasmania is becoming increasingly well known for at a bargain price. It is immediately perfumed with very pure pear, floral and citrus fruits that are absolutely pristine. The wine follows with a concentrated palate with layers of musk, talc even stony flavoured fruits with very crisp acidity well balanced with just a touch of sweetness. The long and clean finish is also finely balanced making for a wine well suited to fresh Vietnamese spring rolls.
