Molto bene! That's what we said in bad Italian accents after trying this Fiano. There may have even been chef kissing fingers. That's because this crisp and well formed Fiano shows all of the bits that make this variety so popular. No shortage of acidity, but coupled with fleshy flavours and real vibrancy.

How's it taste?

The Serafino Bellissimo Fiano is a bright vibrant wine, displaying intense citrus and floral characters. The wine is crisp and refreshing with layers of flavour and a fine mouthwatering finish. Think orange blossom.

How was it made?

The grapes were harvested during the night to keep the fruit cool and preserve fruit flavours and freshness. Fermented in a stainless steel vessel, the wine was then left on yeast lees to develop a richer mouthfeel and flavour complexity

Who made it?

The Serafino story began in 1964 when Steve (Serafino) Maglieri arrived in Australia from Italy as a passionate teenager full of dreams. Two years later, with the assistance of his father Giovanni, he planted his first vines in McLaren Vale that now extends to 350 acres, laying the foundation of a winemaking dynasty that today is known as Serafino Wines and overseen by his daughter, Maria. From the beginning, Steve and his father worked from dawn to dusk seven days a week to produce wines of such outstanding quality that it wasn’t long before the accolades began to flow.
