The 2019 vintage will forever fall in the shadow of the exceptional 2018, however many of the cabernets that have presented themselves over the past 6–12 months of releases have shown an energy, a structure and a distinct blackness that speaks volumes about their inherent quality. This is no exception. It possesses all the beauty and intrigue that the '19 cabernets exhibit, and it finishes with a long tendril of luscious, ripe, pure cassis fruit. Quite beautiful, and certainly impressive for the price.

Huon Hooke - The Real Review
Some green pea amid the cassis and blackcurrant cabernet fruit notes, the palate has a dab of sweetness in the centre which vies with slightly harsh tannins. The astringency says it needs food. It's young, and a year or two in the cellar will soften and mellow it. There's very good cabernet fruit in here.

Deep ruby and purple edges. Bay leaf, blackcurrant and dry earth on the nose. Blood plums and olive tapenade give tension and presence to the palate. Goes long and quite deep, but the tannins are a little too sinewed to really flow
