The Collective Review

Be ready to be called the 'wine hunter' as you land yourself an extravagant piece of Barossan old-vine glory. An enormous, statement Shiraz from 130 year old vines, tended by hand, completely dry-grown and vinified with the care and attention a bespoke Rolls Royce would deserve.

Paying under $40 per bottle on a $110 wine isn't exactly a daily opportunity, so you can imagine we have to be a little coy with the details behind this flagship. All we can say is this: the label you will receive is exactly the same wine, cork, bottle and all, as you'll find the cellar-door with an asking price northward of $100. The wine itself is only ever made in the best vintages, and has previously notched up some significant scores from the likes of Halliday and company, including 98pts just a few years back. It's also become a big hit with collectors across the globe, where the likes of VIVINO has it placed in the TOP 1% of all wines in the world! An extraordinary feat, made even more dazzling by the fact you'll be able to take it home and save nearly $950 a case in the process.

Dust a spot off on the top-shelf, as this long-lived behemoth will deserve a place at the pointiest end of your wine collection

Big Christmas cake aromas. Super brambley, stemmy, nose with notes of nutmeg, clove, blackberry, blackcurrant, and a lot of oak. Palate is immensely concentrated and jammy. Deep, dark, inky and rich. Full bodied, very serious and savoury.
