Jules Taylor is now a Marlborough veteran with a history of producing generous Kiwi whites. She has a real knack for Pinot Gris, and this 2019 is right on form.

Gently textured with a nice mix of fruit and snappy acidity, it's an entirely enjoyable white wine of easy appeal.

Expert Reviews

91 Points - Bob Campbell MW - The Real ReviewNew clones (54B and 457) with small berries for greater flavour concentration from an early-ripening unirrigated site. An appealing, fruity wine with ripe pear and apple flavours. Quite a textural wine, with just a hint of sweetness.

How's it taste?

Tropical fruit expression throughout the glass, transitioning with subtle spices from the aroma to fresh minerality towards the finish. Cheeky, dry and a good people pleaser.

Who made it?

Jules is a local Marlborough girl, where she has made a name for herself as a Senior Winemaker for the region's largest wineries and a Consultant Winemaker throughout the region. After a few years in Italy, Jules had attuned her vision for her wines bringing a more 'down to earth' enjoyment of wine which she portrays in every bottle. -Italy brought home to me the importance of enjoying great wine with the people you love in a place that's important to you. Drinking wine should be less about status and more about creating good memories.- Jules Taylor
