If you where told we could have a bottle of top quality Champagne for under $20 you’d probably tell us to put out the fire on our pants - clearly we’d be lying. You can’t possibly have premium Champagne for that price! Well, you’d be right. Champagne is prohibitively expensive. What you can do is get an alternative sparkling wine, easily of equal quality, right here for $19.99. We are talking, of course, about Cava.

Gran Reserva wines like this one have the added benefit of having undergone at least 30 months of ageing in the bottle, which only increases the depth and complexity.
So, it appears you have a choice to make. Standard Champagne and spend a bundle? Or top level Cava and pay pennies? The choice, we think, is going to be easy…

The textural elements combine fine, creamy bubbles, with texture from the wine and a low dosage. Loving the aromas and flavours of local varieties, they make for a serious tasty beverage. A great example of balancing sweet fruit with earthy, savory, and salty characters just as sandalwood and musk balance the florals in a perfume.
