Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2018 Fourcas-Hosten leaps from the glass with notions of raspberry preserves and freshly crushed blackcurrants with hints of fallen leaves, dried herbs and chocolate box. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is elegantly played with a firm, grainy texture and just enough freshness, finishing on a peppery note.
