No heavy-handed winemaking needed to showcase the cabernet aromas and fruit power here, in what was an unusually (and beneficially) cool year for this variety in this place. All the varietal thrills - blackcurrant, blackberry and some plum fruitcake notes, with a fulfilling palate and tannin-supported structure. Great value.

Gary Walsh - The Wine Front
Reliable as ever.Juicy, blackcurrant and red fruits, raisin and chocolate, cedar and mint. Good flavour, light but sure tannin, a savoury toasty edge, and a good finish. In short, it delivers the goods.

A juicy and jammy cab with some currant-bush character. Medium body. Simple finish. Drink now. Screw cap.

Huon Hooke - The Real Review
Deepish ruby to brick-red, slightly forward colour, with a very oaky bouquet layered with a shoe-polish note - it smells volatile but doesn't taste that way. Not very cab-ish. It's soft and mildly fleshy, savoury and developed, with drying tannins to close.
