Vibrant red. Multilayered aromas and flavors of bright red cherry, raspberry, sweet spices and marzipan. Luscious yet lively on the precise long finish. This is superb.

The 2017 Rosso di Montalcino shows pretty strawberry flavors laced with peppery herbs and earthy mineral tones. Saline minerals and red berry fruits saturate this gracious, feminine Rosso, while cooling acids add vibrancy. The finish is long, almost salty, and the 2017 is surprisingly structured for a Rosso, as notes of tart red berries and inner florals slowly fade. Don’t make the mistake of falling for this wine's lightweight textures and ethereal feel; there are unseen depths here that only time will reveal.
This Rosso di Montalcino is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a rich bouquet of laurel and eucalyptus, enriched with pleasant hints of blackberries, mulberry and bitter oranges. On the palate it is full, sapid, elegant and pleasantly persistent. Perfect to accompany dishes with meat sauce and risotto, it is ideal in combination with game, stews and roasts.
