Lawley Farm is a Barossa Vineyard owned and managed by the 6th generation of the Burge (Grant Burge) family that produces exceptional fruit year on year.
With a vibrant red colour this wine exhibits aromas of raspberry and chocolate with a hint of sweet spice and vanilla. The palate is bright with typical red fruit characters, beautifully balanced by luscious vanilla oak and spice. The understated oak creates soft and fine tannins and allows for a well-balanced Shiraz.

Expert Reviews

93 Points - Sam Kim - Wine OrbitOffering sweet fruit notes of Black Doris plum and mulberry as well as nuances of cake spice, almond and floral, the wine shows lovely mid-palate weight and fruit intensity backed by supple texture and silky tannins. It’s succulent, flavoursome and lingering with plenty of tasty flavours. At its best: now to 2025. AU$26.00.
92 Points - Angus HughsonWhile many people won’t be familiar with the Lawley Farm label, it has a bit of pedigree as it houses the wines from Trent Burge, son of Barossa legend Grant Burge. And the wine has the Burge stamp all over it – ripe, generous and plush fruits, and made for drinking pleasure. This is a modern Barossa Style – there is fleshy cocoa and blackberry fruits – with a touch of tar and baked earth. The palate is then dry, full-bodied, rich and bold yet with supple tannins. It’s admirable concentration and length finish off what is a delicious package.

Let’s face it - we all have very different wine tastes and not every wine you find will be right for you right now. That’s why I’ve put together a little selection of my favourites - wines that I’d be very happy to enjoy this weekend which are guaranteed to hit the spot.
