The 2017 Verso de Haut-Batailley is plump and rich in the glass, with lovely depth and tons of near-term appeal. Dark cherry, chocolate, spice, new leather and earthy notes meld together in this pliant, open-knit Pauillac. Drink it over the next handful of years.

First Release for Sale The Cazes family announce the release for sale of the second wine of its newly acquired estate, Château Haut-Batailley. The new label, which marks a new page in the history of this Pauillac 1855 Grand Cru Classé, is inspired by the master of imagination, Gustave Doré, in the style of true Victorian lithographs. Its subtle variations in colour bring the clouds to life in a halo of golden light. The estate’s bright and beautiful tower appears on the back side - or "Verso" in French - of the bottle. Representative of a magnificent terroir, Verso displays harmony, freshness, aromatic depth and elegance. Blend : 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot

How long will my order take?We use Australia Post for shipping. Depending on your location, your order may take between 2-10 business days to arrive.
Items that are 'In stock' will be dispatched from our Sydney warehouse the same or next business day. By default, orders containing 'Pre-Order' or 'Wine Collective Marketplace' products will be dispatched once all items have been received in our Sydney warehouse.
